1960's

Stephen Hardie ('68) was recognized as a community volunteer for the Jamie Barwick Hills and Dales Foundation Board of Directors.

 

Michael O'Donnell ('69) was hired as an attorney for Steptoe & Johnson PLLC at its Houston Office. 

           

1970's

Tim Conlon ('71) was appointed as a director for the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival as a representative for Conlon Construction.

  John Markham ('71was recognized as a community volunteer for the Jamie Barwick Hills and Dales Foundation Board of Directors.    Jeffery Mozena ('75) was appointed as a new board member for Stonehill Franciscan Services. He was also reelected as treasurer for Premier Bank Board of Directors. He is the president and CEO of Premier Bank.   

Dawn Swift ('79) was promoted to senior order fulfillment coordinator at McGraw-Hill Education. 

   

1980's
Kelly Myers ('85) represented AMPERAGE fundraising on the Jamie Barwick Hills and Dales Foundation Board of Directors.  

Keith Sindberg ('86)  represented TRICOR insurance on the Jamie Barwick Hills and Dales Foundation Board of Directors as the secretary/treasurer.

 

Doug Varley ('86) has been promoted from Mazzuchelli's assistant principal (2005-Current) to lead and sole administrator at the school for the upcoming year.

  James Joeger ('89) was hired as solar energy consultant covering the Iowa City and surrounding area. He will educate about the environmental benefits and savings on electricity bills that solar energy brings to the public. he has more than 24 years of outside sales experience in the software, mangament consulting, and industrial goods industries.    

1990's
Darin LaHood ('90) will be the featured speaker at the 38th annual Respect the Life Dinner. 

 

  Tina Wagner ('91) currently the business manager for Tri-State Occupational Health, has passed the CPC-T exam (Certified Professional Collector- Trainer) through the DATIA (Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association) at Medical Associates.    Michelle (Sweeny) Ariss   ('96)  was promoted to senior vice president of finance at DuTrac.    Creed Waelchli ('97)  represented Cottingham and Butler on the UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital Board.   Chad Hutington ('98) has been appointed to A.Y. McDonald Manufacturing's president. He has been with the company for 20 years. 

Luke Rodham ('98) was recognized as a new board member for Two by Two Character Development representing TH Media.       

  

       

2000's


Nicholas Hess ('00) was hired as prinipal at Kennedy Elementary School. He has been a special-education-instructional coach at Kennedy since 2016. Prior to that, he worked at Bryant Elementary School in Dubuque and Northwest Special Education Cooperative in Freeport, Il.

  Natalie Nemmers ('02) was named Woman Who Makes a Difference in BizTimes recent issue.    Nick Gibbs ('03) was hired as a business account sales executive for US Cellular to support the Dubuque and Northeast Iowa. He has more than 20 years of wireless experience.   Jeff Manternach ('03) was appointed as a director for the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival as a representative for Key City Vision.    Tasha Lippold ('04) was recognized as a new board member for Two by Two Character Development representing Premier Bank.

Erick Kephart ('05) was hired as an Account Manager for Boyd Gaming. 

  Kyle Brinkman ('07) was hired as accounting manager at Honkamp Krueger. He has 12 years of experience in his field.  

Michael Girsch ('07) was promoted to Sergeant at the Waterloo Police Department.

  
 

Lynn (Bries) Schmitt ('07)  was appointed IRA manager at Dupaco Community Credit Union for the Hillcrest Road location in Dubuque.

  Linda Frommelt ('08) was hired as Pastoral Care Coordinator for Stonehill Franciscan Services. 

Matt Garcia ('08) was promoted to senior portfolio manager at McGraw-Hill Education. 

  Scott Meyer ('08) was hired as an Account Manager for Boyd Gaming.  

Beth Rowe ('09) was recognized as a Biz Times 2019 Rising Star. She is currently employed at Dubuque Bank and Trust and Wisconsin Bank and Trust as Director of Marketing and Public Relations Vice President.

       

2010's
Tyler Loucks ('10was appointed as Support Specialist at the Hillcrest Road location for Dupaco Community Credit Union.   

Kelli Theisen ('10) OD, was hired for Opthalmology for Medical Associates. 

 

Kathleen Ehlbeck ('12was hired by FHN as a Family Medicine Physician Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. 

  Ellen Dettmer ('13) was hired as the new Director of Development for United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States.   Travis Misner ('13) is Manager of Partnership Development with the Charlotte Hornets.

Sergio Perez ('13) was recognized as a 2019 Biz Times Rising Star in Dubuque. He is the director of the Center for Inclusion and Diversity at Loras College. 

 

Aaron Strong ('13) was hired as an accountant at Cottingham & Butler.  

  
  Courntey Boyd ('14) accepted a postition with the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans as a Partnership Marketing Coordinator.   Austin Heeren ('14) was promoted to Treasury Managment Support Specialist for Heartland Financial USA.    Sarah (Link) Little ('14) was promoted to Senior Sales Solutions representative at McGraw-Hill Education. 

Jacob Sullivan ('14) was promoted to senior content licensing specialist at McGraw-Hill Education.       Amy McDonough ('15) was promoted to Director of Western Dubuque Programs for St. Mark's Youth Enrichment.    Alicia Ney ('15) was recognized as a new board member for Two by Two Character Development representing Paramount Ambulance.     Austin Kalmes ('16) was promoted to internal audit senior staff auditor for Heartland Financial USA.       Adelida Oberman ('18) was hired at Cottingham & Butler as an Account Administrator. 

Paige Bildstein ('19) has recently been published in the newest edition of The Reflective Educator's Guide to Classroom Research: Learning to Teach and Teaching to Learn Through Practitioner Inquiry.    Brooke Boddicker ('19) was hired at Cottingham & Butler as a Communications Specialist.    Garrett Hammond ('19) was hired as a customer data assocaite for Heartland Financial USA.    

Mikhayla Kruse- Meek ('19) has recently been published in the newest edition of The Reflective Educator's Guide to Classroom Research: Learning to Teach and Teaching to Learn Through Practitioner Inquiry.
