Loras College to Host Program in Honor of Black History Month
Joe Rogers, Colorado’s Former Lt. Governor, who served as the youngest lieutenant governor in the country and the highest ranking African American state elected official, will present the Dream Alive Program at Loras College’s 2012 Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration beginning at 5 pm, on Feb. 11, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Auditorium in Hoffmann Hall at Loras College.

Loras College students will take part in a variety of service trips over the next week focused on working side by side with those in need. 

Loras Hosts 24th Annual National Mock Trial Invitational
Loras College will welcome students, coaches and judges from colleges and universities across the country come to participate in the largest and oldest mock trial tournament in the nation when it hosts the 24th Annual National Invitational Tournament on Friday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 28.

Dubuque Racing Association Grant Makes Beautiful Music at Loras College
Loras College received a grant of $18,750 from the Dubuque Racing Association (DRA) in 2011 to purchase band instruments for the College’s growing music program.

Monday, Dec. 5, 2011- Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, the Loras Library will be exhibiting a rare and valuable collection of antique Christmas postcards donated by the late Father Raymond Roseliep.
