What advice would you give to high school students looking to come to Loras?
Loras is a school where it gives you the tools to be successful, but in order to accomplish that success, you yourself must use the tools to take you to where you want to go with your life.

How has your Loras experience impacted your life?
Loras has been a great place to grow as an adult. Being able to participate in many different groups and activities has provided me with a well-rounded background and I feel confident that I can succeed in the professional world after graduation.

What advice would you give to high school students looking to come to Loras?
I would encourage high school student to look at Loras for the abundance of opportunities and experiences they will have at Loras; they will be able to be involved with everything they want to.

I chose to become a member of LSAC because I feel like I already owe so much to this institution for what it has already given to me. I think the alumni-student relationship is so important and truly has an influence on the campus atmosphere.

How had your Loras experience impacted your life? My experience here at Loras has been only positive.  I have learned many valuable life lessons here both in the classroom and in everyday life.  The education I receive here is exceptional and has opened up many door to great opportunities.  Whether it be reporting for LCTV, attending conferences, or being a member of the football team; the experiences that I have had at Loras are going to benefit me for the rest of my life.

What advice would you give to high school students looking to come to Loras?
Do not under estimate Loras just because of its size.  Loras is a great school with a lot to offer. If you want an education that is more than just your major, but more about who you are Loras is the place for you.

How has you Loras experience impacted your life?
I have grown tremendously while at Loras through my classes, extracurricular involvement and peers. I have been challenged in so many of my classes, but the outcome of all the hard work has more than paid off. Through my involvement with Dance Marathon I have strengthened my leadership, communication and organization skills. I also have become more outgoing and more comfortable with myself just by meeting and interacting with new students throughout my entire time at Loras.

What advice would you give to high school students looking to come to Loras? Definitely visit! It's impossible to see if Loras is for you by reading about it online. And once you are here, make sure you talk to people - especially the person in charge of the field you want to go into. Getting additional information can do nothing but help you in making your decision.
