Loras is a school where it gives you the tools to be successful, but in order to accomplish that success, you yourself must use the tools to take you to where you want to go with your life.

How had your Loras experience impacted your life? My experience here at Loras has been only positive. I have learned many valuable life lessons here both in the classroom and in everyday life. The education I receive here is exceptional and has opened up many door to great opportunities. Whether it be reporting for LCTV, attending conferences, or being a member of the football team; the experiences that I have had at Loras are going to benefit me for the rest of my life.

I have grown tremendously while at Loras through my classes, extracurricular involvement and peers. Through my involvement with Dance Marathon I have strengthened my leadership, communication and organization skills. I also have become more outgoing and more comfortable with myself just by meeting and interacting with new students throughout my entire time at Loras.

What advice would you give to high school students looking to come to Loras? Definitely visit! It's impossible to see if Loras is for you by reading about it online. And once you are here, make sure you talk to people - especially the person in charge of the field you want to go into. Getting additional information can do nothing but help you in making your decision.
